Backslap - Find Yourself (for Burnt Zine) First off, what the bloody hell is wrong with the lead singers voice? I thought, hey, there's a female lead singer for this act, cool. But, I looked at the booklet and there's this guy named Arthur who apparently does the vocals. The end result of the time recording this disc is an album that sounds as if the person had no clue how to digitally record - seriously, it sounds as if I'm hearing it through a cheap car stereo. However, the talent exhibited by Backslap glows through any horrid recording they may have, as they tie together machine gun drumming to cutting riffs and modded-out vocal delivery to make something infectious even with its' hard leanings.
