Dead to Fall - Everything I touch Falls to Pieces (for Burnt Zine)
I don't care what Victory calls it, this is death metal verging on black metal. And, believe me, does this album every rock my proverbial songs off. My head was continually bobbing through the times that I listened to the disc, and the mix of all parts of the band really create a monstrous sound that completely blows me away. Jumping between death metal and black metal, Dead to Fall continually mixes up their general sound, so as to not create a tedious CD. Even with the dissonance created by much of D2F's music, there are still Blind Guardian-esque progressive metal parts in songs such as "Like A Bullet". Scores of other metal acts could not even hope to achieve half the talent Dead to Fall exhibits on this disc.
